Windows command prompt is the only command line tool and a reminder of old Windows version, but at times useful and so below are some of the quick keys you can use. Using arrow keys you can scroll back and forward between previously executed commands. Command list can store 50 commands but can be changed in properties. Use quick edit mode to copy and paste using mouse left & drag to copy and right click to paste.

  • F1: Repeats the letters of the last command line one character at a time
  • F2: Displays a dialog asking user to “enter the char to copy up to” of the last command line
  • F3: Repeats the last command line
  • F4: Displays a dialog asking user to “enter the char to delete up to” of the last command line
  • F5: Scroll thru previous commands in backward, stops at first command
  • F6: Enters the ^z or End of file
  • F7: Displays a menu with the command line history with numbers as the hotkey and hold up to 50 commands. Clear the list using ALT + F7
  • F8: Cycles back through previous command as a rotating list. If having typed the first few letters for the wanted command, then it will only cycle through the previous commands matching that prefix when pressing F8
  • F9: Displays a dialog asking user to enter a command number, where 0 is for first command line entered

For quick find, scroll and paste use of Alt + Spacebar then “e” and underline character for there specific function specially

Google Doc 1

Google Docs editing of shapes, color and custom drawing while creating presentations got easier. Hold the Shift key and select all the shapes, text boxes to format all of them at once, then you can change the color, border weight, font size etc.  While presenting Google added jump to specific slide in the toolbar.

Many of the presentation features are not available like autoplay, or insert sound, and slide animation is very limited, so you feel like getting more out of Google Docs and wants improvement add your comment as feature request.

Gmail added some of the new fields for your Gmail Contacts like Date, Website etc.. Up till now Gmail used to put all unrecognized fields into Notes field while importing but now Gmail supports CSV from Outlook, Outlook Express, Yahoo! Mail, Hotmail, Eudora and vCard from Apple Address Book. Improving importing means only one thing is making easy for people to move to Gmail. One more import improvement is you can select which contact group all the imported contacts will go in. One of the know problem with the contacts in Gmail is duplicate contacts don’t appear in the group auto complete.
