To Find out the port number used by the running program. Follow the simple steps. 1. Go to Command Prompt. 2. Type netstat –n –a –o 3. It will give you the PID in the last column , it is nothing but the process id of the program which is running, and in the second column that is “Local Address” after the ip adress you got the port number, in the above example it is say 127.0.0.1:1218 so here 1218 is the port number for process id 2212. 4.
